Does VBB make all of the beverages that it sells and distributes, or are some of the beverages made elsewhere and then distributed by VBB?VBB is a distribution facility that distributes a variety of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. Several of our carbonated products are manufactured by our parent company, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Central Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. For a list of products produced in Charlottesville please visit our Products page and click on the “Made in Virginia” tab. All of our non-carbonated brands and some additional carbonated brands are sourced from other manufacturers and shipped to VBB for distribution.

There are several different abbreviations associated with the distribution of soft drinks, what do some of them mean?
Bottle and can.

Carb and Non-Carb
Carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. Canada Dry is a carbonated beverage and Marley’s Mellow Mood is a non-carbonated beverage.
Outlets that are similar in size that buy, merchandise and sell soft drinks in similar ways.
Company-owned one, two, and three glass-doored refrigerated units that contain cold product.
Carbonated Soft Drink.
Direct Store Delivery. Products go from the plant or warehouse directly to a customer account.
Electronic Data Interchange
